Dr Claude Nos

Dr. Claude NOS is a cancer surgeon specialized in breast surgery.

He holds a diploma in general surgery and a diploma in oncology.
Former intern and former chief of clinic of the hospitals of Paris.
He practiced for 9 years at the Curie Institute in the breast surgery department.
In 2005, he left the Curie Institute to join the team of the BREAST Center in Paris.
He also works at the Georges-Pompidou European Hospital where he is a part-time hospital practitioner.

Dr. NOS is one of the most renowned French surgeons in the field of breast cancer, whether it be excisional surgery or reconstructive surgery.

He was one of the French pioneers regarding the sentinel lymph node technique and has published numerous articles in this field. He created an approach of preservation of the lymph nodes of the arm in case of axillary dissection to avoid the “big arms”. This technique has been presented in numerous international conferences and is the topic of a clinical research protocol.
Thanks to the relevance of Dr. NOS’ work, this technique is available at the BREAST Center.

Dr. NOS is a member of the French Surgical Association, the International Sentinel Node Society, and the French Society of Senology and Breast Pathology. He sits on the Board of Directors of the GYNECOMED Ile-de-France network.

He teaches interns at the Diploma of Complementary Specialized Studies in Oncology and Radiotherapy, at the Inter-university diploma in gynecological and breast oncology at the Hôpital Européen Georges-Pompidou, at the European School of Oncology and at the European School of Surgery.

He has published several scientific articles on breast cancer in international journals.
